For jimiknd

Take a bowl add besan and water,mix well. make thin batter without lumps.

Grease a plate with oil.

Add salt, turmeric powder, ginger paste and chopped green chilli.

Take a heavy bottom wok.

Add besan batter and stirring regularly.

Batter becomes thick consistency (like a soft dough)

Put down the jimiknd dough in greased plate and spread evenly.

Keep the jimiknd aside for 10 minute.

Cut the small pieces in square or diamond shape.

Heat the oil and deep fry all pieces on medium flame.

For gravy

Take 2 tsp besan.add 2 tbsp water mix well.

Make creamy paste.

Sieve the curd and add 2 cup water and besan paste.

Add turmeric powder.Curd besan mixture ready for gravy.

Heat ghee in a wok.

Add cumin, cloves and hing

Add curd and besan mixture. Stir regularly.

After one boil,add fried jimiknd pieces & salt.

Cook for 5-10 minute on low flame. stir regularly. Take off the gas.

Add grmmasala.

Garnish with red chilli ghee.

Serve with chapti & plain rice.

Recipe is without onion and garlic. As per your taste, add onion and garlic in gravy.
