Ingredients

12 minutes
4 servings
  1. 500 gPrawns
  2. 2.5 tbsp+ 1 tsp Coconut oil
  3. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  4. 1 tbsprice Flour
  5. to tasteSalt
  6. 2 sprigCurry Leaves
  7. 1 tspLemon juice
  8. To grind
  9. 4-6Shallots
  10. 3-4dry red chillies
  11. 1 tspgrated Ginger
  12. 1 tspminced Garlic
  13. 1 tspCumin seeds
  14. 1/2 tspblack Peppercorns

Steps

12 minutes
  1. 1

    Grind all ingredients mentioned under grind section to paste. Coat prawns with ground paste, salt, turmeric and lemon juice. Allow to rest for 30 minutes

  2. 2

    Now coat prawns with rice flour

  3. 3

    Heat 2.5 tbsp oil in a pan. Add curry leaves and saute until they turn crispy

  4. 4

    Add prawns and saute well. Cook on low to medium heat,Allow the water to evaporate by stirring occasionally. Drizzle 1 tsp coconut oil

  5. 5

    Fry on low heat until prawns turn crispy. Serve hot with steamed rice
