Ingredients

  1. For daal
  2. 1/2 cupToor daal
  3. 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  4. 2 tbsppeanut
  5. 1 teaspoonsalt
  6. 1/2 cupTomato chopped
  7. 15-18 Radish Flowers (cut into flower mold)
  8. 1/2 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  9. 1chopped onion
  10. 1/2 cupjaggery
  11. as neededoil
  12. 1/4 tspMustard seeds
  13. 15-18Carrot flower slice(cut into flower mold) 1 teaspoon ginger
  14. 2 pinchHing
  15. 1Bay leaves 1 tablespoon Jaggery, gur 3 cups of water
  16. 1 tbspGram flour
  17. 1/2 cupwhole wheat flour
  18. to tastesalt
  19. 1 tbspoil
  20. For Tadka
  21. 1/4 teaspooncumin seeds
  22. 2Curry leaves [For Garnishing]
  23. For Dhokli
  24. 1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  25. 1/8 teaspoonajwain
  26. 1 tablespoonfinely chopped green chilli
  27. 1/4 cupwater Cook only in pressure cooker

Steps

  1. 1

    For the dhoklis
    Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, whole wheat flour, besan, turmeric, green chilli, asafetida,, salt, and oil and mix it well. Add the water as needed to make dough.

    Divide the dough into equal parts and roll out If needed use little whole wheat flour for dusting the rolling surface that will help in rolling.Cut each roti into flower shape using flower shape mold and set aside.

  3. 3

    For the dal......
    Clean, wash and drain the dal. In pressure cooker heat the oil in a small pan, when oil is moderately hot add the cumin seeds and mustard seeds, asafetida, and green chilies and allow them to crack. dal, salt, turmeric, and 3 cups of water. Cook over medium high heat.

  4. 4

    When the pressure cooker starts to steam,Add peanuts, chilli powder, tomatoes, carrot,radish,ginger, and jiggery to dal, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. add dhokli and cook on a low medium heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.our flower shapes daal dhokli is ready to eat.😊😊😚.!!!
