Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2 big aaloo samosas
  2. 1 cupcooked chickpeas/chhole /matra
  3. 2boiled, peeled and cubed potatoes
  4. 1 medium onion, finely diced
  5. 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
  6. 2 tablespoonsgreen mint coriander chutney
  7. 2 tablespoonstamarind sauce/chutney
  8. 1 cupthick fresh yoghurt, whisked until smooth
  9. 1green chilli, chopped
  10. 1 teaspoonchaat masala, or to taste
  11. 1/2 teaspooncumin powder
  12. 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  13. 1 tablespoonfresh coriander, chopped
  14. 2 tablespoonsthin bhujiya /sev

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    We can use plain boiled chickpeas but I prefer building flavour by pressure cooking them first with the salt, chopped ginger and green chillies

    Assembling/plating
    On a plate, crush two samosas lightly into big pieces.

    Add a generous amount of boiled chickpeas and cubed potatoes.

    Then sprinkle some of the finely chopped tomato, onion and chillies.  

  5. 5

    Sprinkle chaat masala, cumin powder and chilli powder.

  6. 6

    Drizzle about 2 tablespoons of the whisked yoghurt followed by green chutney drop wise, and tamarind sauce/chutney.

    Then top the entire chaat with some chopped coriander, green chillies and crushed sev/bhujiya and serve immediately.
