Steps

Clean the drumsticks and peel them off. Cut them into medium sized sticks

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thick round pieces

For masala : soak the cumin seeds, mustard seeds, garlic and 2 dry chillies for 5 mins. Strain it and make a paste and keep aside

Heat a pan and add some mustard oil into it. Add 1/2 teaspoon of panch phodan and once they splutter add the potatoes, drumsticks, salt and turmeric and saute it a bit

Add the masala prepared in step 3 and mix it well. Add half cup of water and bring it to boil. Cover with a lid and let it cook in low sim for 15 mins

Remove the cooked dish and keep aside. Add some oil into the pan and add rest of the panch phodan and 1 dry red chilli. Add the chopped onions and saute till golden brown

Add the cooked potato and drumstick mix into this and mix it well. Add some water based on how much gravy you need. Bring it to boil and remove

Your dish is ready to be served hot with rice
