Soak urad dal for 6 hours in water. drain it and grind into a fine paste with 3 to4 teaspoon of water.

Grind green chillies, garlic and cumin, make chutney.

Add chutney in urad dal paste.Mix well and keep aside for 2 hours.

Heat oil in kadai, just before frying add salt in batter and again mix well.

Put some portion from the batter and fry in medium hot oil till golden colour appear.

Soak fried vada in cold water for 5 minute.

Mean while beat curd with sugar until smooth.

Now take vada from cold water Press excess water from it and put in beaten curd.

Let it rest for 1 hour to get soaked in curd.

Dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seed and whole red chilli.

When cooled, grind to a fine powder.

Sprinkle this masala on dahivada,and serve chilled.
