Buffalo Chicken Strips with Blue Cheese Dip

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 lbChicken Breasts, cut into strips (or tenders)
  2. 1 tspcanola oil
  3. 2 tbspHot sauce
  4. 1/4 tspsalt
  5. 4celery stalks (optional)
  6. 1/4 cupsour cream, fat-free
  7. 1/8 cupbuttermilk, low-fat
  8. 4 tbspcrumbled blue cheese, reduced fat
  9. 1/4 tspgarlic salt
  10. 1 1/2 tspparsley, dried

Cooking Instructions

    Mix oil, hot sauce and salt in a large bowl. Add chicken and stir until evenly coated.

    Mix the sour cream, buttermilk, garlic salt, parsley and blue cheese for the dip. Be sure to smash the blue cheese crumbles as you mix.

    Heat a grill pan or non-stick large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, cook, turning occasionally, until juices run clear and chicken is cooked through (time will depend on how thick your strips or tenders are).

All of the descriptions on my recipes include the new "Smartpoints" value on Weight Watchers for each serving. Some are duplicates from others that I found online, with modifications to reduce the number of points or remove/substitute ingredients my husband and/or I don't like.I'm still new to the kitchen and cooking for two (normally I make recipes for 4 and pack the leftovers for lunch the next day) and am looking to learn more.
