Ingredients

20 minutes
4-5 servings
  • 200 gmraw moong daal
  • 1/2 bottle gourd sliced
  • 1 tspnigella seeds
  • 1/2 tspcelery seeds
  • 1red chilli whole
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • To tastesalt and sugar
  • As neededoil

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil and temper nigella seeds and red chilli

  2. 2

    Add gourd slices and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

  3. 3

    Cover and let it boil and soft

  4. 4

    Add moong daal and boil

  5. 5

    Add sugar as the daal and gourd become soft

  6. 6

    Serve it with rice
