Firni with fresh kinnu jelly in kinnu shell

First wash and rinse rice. After that dry on a towel for 30 mins. Now grind it.

In mean time scoop out kinnu. Sieve the kinnu pulp. Reserve kinnu shells for using later

For kinnu jelly mix 1/4 c sugar in pulp and juice in a pan and keep on gas on low flame.When it reduce to three fourth then add corn flour with 1 spoon water and add in juice. Stir continuously so that lumps not form. when it's shiny in texture switch of the gas.

In the other pan boil milk and add rice. cook till it reduce to 3/4.

Now add sugar and cook till half.

When firni and jelly comes to room temperature, mix well. Add chopped almonds also.

Now pour the mixture in kinnu shells. Decorate with pista pieces and a kinnu piece. Keep in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Serve chilled.
