Ingredients

  • 1 bowltuvar dal
  • 2onions
  • 4-5garlic cloves
  • 2 tbspsambar powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/2 cuptamarind water
  • 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  • 1 tspgaram masala
  • to tastesalt
  • as neededoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Boiled the dal.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a wok add mustard seeds when crackle add onion and saute it,

  3. 3

    Add all spices and tamarind water and cook it.

  4. 4

    Add boil dal and little water and cook on low flame for 20 minutes.

  5. 5

    Serve with vada,
