Ingredients

  • 4 bunchesmrenda
  • 4 tablespoonsMsherekha/munyu (kienyeji bicarbonate of soda)
  • Cream/milk (optional)
  • Cooking oil
  • 1onion
  • 1tomato (optional)
  • Salt

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pot, put in the mrenda some water and msherekha then boil

  2. 2

    After boiling, fry in cooking oil, onions and tomatoes. Add some salt to taste

  3. 3

    Add in thr cream/ milk and let it simmer for few minutes. Serve with ugali
