Take a bowl mix dal and rice wash two or three time and rest for 10 minutes

Take a pressure cooker heat desi ghee add cumin seeds asafoetida bay leaves and long dalchini green elaichi black elaichi and crackled them add Ginger green chilli paste fry until golden colour

Add rice and dal,fry two or three minutes ;add turmeric powder Garam Masala and salt, add 4 Cups water and mix well close the lid of pressure cooker and give one whistle on medium flame

After 5 minutes open pressure cooker Khichdi is ready to be served with papad
