Ingredients

4 to 5 servings
  1. 2 cupschopped fenugreek leaves
  2. 3medium sized chopped onions
  3. 1 1/2 cupsboiled green peas
  4. 15-20almonds
  5. 2 tspoil
  6. 1green chilli
  7. 1 tbspcoriander leaves
  8. 1 tbspmint leaves
  9. 1 tbspcurd
  10. 1/4 tsproasted coriander and cumin powder
  11. little chilli powder
  12. little turmeric
  13. 1"piece of cinnamon stick
  14. 4cloves
  15. to tastesalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the oil in a deep pan and add the mustard seeds.
    Then put cloves, cinnamon stick onions and cook till it becomes light brown in colour.
    Add turmeric powder mix and keep aside for cooling. Put a little oil in the same pan and add chopped fenugreek leaves.
    Cook for 5 to 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
    Make puree of cooked onions, mint leaves, green chilli, coriander leaves, curd and almonds.
    Put this puree in the cooked fenugreek leaves.

    Add the green peas, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, roasted coriander, and cumin powder cook for 5 minutes.
    Serve hot with chapati rice or roti.
