Season the meat with dry spices and crushed garlic, form into balls, and arrange them on a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 480°F (250°C).

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until browned.

While the meat is cooking, prepare the sauce. Finely chop the onion and sauté it, then add the peeled and chopped tomatoes. Simmer until thickened. By this time, the meat should be done.
