Bombay Ice Halwa

Take a thick bottom pan, heat ghee and let it melt. Lower the flame and add sugar, maida and milk. Mix well and set the flame to medium.Let the mixture cook on medium low flame for 20-25 minutes, stir continuously till it comes together as a thick mass.

Grease the foil paper with ghee. Switch off the flame once the desired consistency is achieved and transfer the mixture onto the foil. Line a thick plastic with ghee and place it on the foil.

And then cut it in square shape using knife or pizza cutter.

Roll it out using a rolling pin to a sheet of about 1/4 inch thickness.Remove the plastic, spread the cardamom, almonds and pistachios and place the plastic again and roll it again. Roll out to a thin sheet and remove the plastic sheet and set aside and let halwa set

Let the halwa cool for 4-6 hours and it will come out from the foil easily. Place the halwa pieces over parchment paper to store in an airtight container.
