Steps

Preheat your oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas 6

Core and quarter the apples (you van peel as well but i left it on)

Tip the butter, cinnamon and sugar into a frying pan, place over a high heat and wait until bubbling

Stir the sauce until it starts to seperate

Lay the apples in the pan and cook for 10 minutes, slowly sturing
- 6
At this point you can take the apples out of the pan and lay them back in nicely. However you don't have to do this

Drape the pastry over the sauce and apples, tuck the edges down the side of the pan and under the fruit

Pierce the pastry a few times then bake for 15 minutes

Reduce the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas 5 until the pastry is golden

Leave the tart to stand for about 10 minutes and...
