Grilled Kofta and Shish Tawook

For the kofta: Combine all the ingredients together, mix well, and shape onto the wooden skewers. Place the skewers on a rack set over a baking sheet so they are elevated above the bottom of the pan. Bake in a preheated oven until cooked through and lightly browned, but do not overcook to keep them juicy.

For the shish tawook: Mix the yogurt, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, olive oil, curry powder, turmeric, and salt together. Add the chicken pieces and coat them well. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the wooden skewers. Arrange the skewers on a rack over a baking sheet and bake in a hot oven until cooked through and lightly browned.

Serve the grilled meats with a green salad and French fries. Enjoy!
