Steps
- 1
Gather your ingredients I prefer this solid oil for my chapos
- 2
Pour in your flour on a basin then add in salt to your desired taste and the sugar. Careful the sugar not to put too much. I put in just a small amount of the oil now. Rub in everything together
- 3
Knead as if your life depends on this till it's soft with warm water. If your doing a big amount of chapos devise the dough into sizeable dough like this and knead till it becomes soft
- 4
After kneading cover it for about 10 mins and let the dough rest you can use a wet towel or clear foil
- 5
Now roll your dough like thisand then "grease" and cut into desired sizes
- 6
Roll them into this
- 7
Cover again and leave for about 20 mins if you leave for a longer tone they become even more softer.
- 8
Now roll into round shapes don't leave them being thick as it won't cook well.
- 9
Heat your pan and put a teaspoon of oil just to grease it then put your chapo
- 10
Turn it again an let it cook without adding oil
- 11
This is a good sign that you kneaded well
- 12
Now add in oil
- 13
And turn
- 14
And voila
