Soak tuar daal in enough water about for 15 min.

In a pressure cooker put washed tuar daal little salt, and haldi enough water to cook, take a 3-4 whistle on medium flame

Heat 2 tbs ghee in kadai, add jeera, hing let them sizzle

Then add chhoped onions, ginger garlic paste, red chilli saute it about 2 min on medium heat

Then add chhoped tomatoes salt cook it for a min, then add coriander powder, red chilli powder mix it well, saute it till when all tomatoes become soft and massy

Then add cooked tuar daal

Add 1 cup water garam masala, mix it well, if you want more liquid daal add more water, bring it to boil, very well,add coriander leaves

Serve it with rice or chapati.
