Green chana bhaji

Clean the chana saag and remove the stems

Cut and peel potato into 1/2 inch dice

In a heavy bottom pan, heat oil. Add cumin seed, asafoetida, saute ginger, garlic, green chilli, onion.

Now add all dry spices except dry mango powder and garam masala.

Saute for a minute.

Then add potato, and chana saag. Mix it with all masala and cover with lid.

Let it cook for 6 to 8 minute or untill the potatoes are done. Stir in between to avoid burn

Now add chopped tomatoes, dry mango powder and garam masala cook for another 2 minute.

Green chana bhaji are now ready to enjoy with chapati or paratha.
