Ingredients

3 servings
  • 2.5 lbsChuck Roast
  • 3Carrots, cut into 1-2 inch pieces
  • 2-3 stalksCelery, cut into 1-2 inch pieces
  • 4-5Red Potatoes, quartered
  • 1/4-1/2Red Onion, diced
  • 2-3 clovesGarlic, minced
  • 3 cupsBeef Broth
  • 1 tablespoonTomato Paste
  • to tasteSalt & Pepper
  • Couple sprigs of Thyme & Rosemary

Steps

  1. 1

    Season chuck roast to your liking

  2. 2

    Sear chuck roast on all sides in a hot, oiled frying pan

  3. 3

    Add beef broth, tomato paste, garlic, and onion to crockpot. Then add roast, carrots, potatoes, and celery to crockpot.

  4. 4

    Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
