Ingredients

  1. Rosemary garlic or cracker crust
  2. 1 cupOrtega taco sauce
  3. Mozzarella and cheddar blend (½ and ½)
  4. Sliced black olives
  5. 1 lb.ground beef
  6. 2 packagesOrtega taco seasoning
  7. Chopped iceberg lettuce
  8. Chopped fresh tomato
  9. Crushed tortilla chips

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix both packets of taco seasoning into the raw beef. Split into 4 equal parts and freeze 3 for later.

  2. 2

    Simmer sauce down to about 1/3 cup to thicken.

  3. 3

    Spread sauce to the edge of crust

  4. 4

    Add cheese to a thumbnail’s width from the edge.

  5. 5

    Pinch and flick on taco meat.

  6. 6

    Add olives.

  7. 7

    Bake on a pizza stone until done (about 10 minutes).

  8. 8

    Cut, and then add lettuce, tomato, and chips in that order before serving.
