Homemade Chocolate/ Fudge
I enjoyed it! Hope you give a twist and enjoy too 😊
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Sift cocoa powder and milk powder together, and set aside
- 2
Boil sugar and water, until it reaches one string consistency (one string consistency is when you touch with your two fingers, separating them leaves a string)
- 3
Add butter and mix well. Add the sifted mixture and mix well. Spoon this over a parchment paper and spread it evenly. Put in a fridge for 30 mins
- 4
Cut into shapes using cookie cutter or whichever device you like. Store in a container and enjoy

Admittedly I am more a baker than a candy maker. Fudge and other candies can be tricky. So, from trial and error I took a traditional Fudge recipe and timed the steps so that I could duplicate it over and over. This recipe is the result of that effort. 1953kenny -

I was looking for a fudge recipe that didn't require "condensed milk" when I found this neat recipe at "showmetheyummy.com" and decided to give it a try. 😎👏 I'm so glad that I did because now I can make fudge with or without condensed milk! 😆👍👍 #fudge #chocolatefudge #holidaytreats Chef Mommy Nessa -
Old fashioned chocolate fudge Old fashioned chocolate fudge
We LOVE fudge but what’s not to love about it? This is the kind of fudge you hafta babysit the entire time but well worth the effort! Super creamy. Make sure you use a big enough pan because it grows. I use my candy thermometer because I pull it off the heat the second it hits the soft ball stage. Too soon, it’s grainy. Too late, it’s dry. It’s a fickle candy, but when it’s right it’s heavenly. #mycookbook SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -
Homemade fudge brownies Homemade fudge brownies
They taste just like the fudge and homemade chocolate icing our grandmas, etc made back in the day on the stovetop. Except no stovetop for these! It has a fudge crunch and a gooey center. Sooo good! If you want them thicker, double the recipe. But I like them thin, because you can really taste the fudge crunch and brownie together. LISA DUNSON -
