Paneer makhani/paneer butter masala

Firstly in a pan heat 1tbsp butter and saute onion, ginger & garlic paste

Further add tomatoes and cashewnuts saute till they turn mushy
- 3
Cool completely and blend to smooth paste without adding any water
- 4
Furthermore heat butter in a pan add bayleaf, cloves, cardmom and cinnamon, also add turmeric and chilli powder,coriander powder and saute on low flame for 2-3mins

Now add grinded paste and salt saute for 5 mins, cover and cook for 10 mins till oil seprates

Now to this add paneer cubes, garam masala powder, kasoori methi,fresh cream,1tsp sugar and cook for 7-8 mins

Once done switch off the flame,garnish with some fresh cream and cashews. serve with paratha or naan

Note - you can strain masala paste add use to prepare makhani gravy or else you can add as it is
