Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupgreen moong dal
  2. 1onion chopped
  3. 1tomato chopped
  4. 1small cucumber chopped
  5. 1 tspamchoor powder
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 1/2lemon to squeeze juice

Cooking Instructions

    Boil whole green moong(1/2 cup)with little water (2cups) so that daal gets done nicely but not overdone

    Add a small chopped onion, tomato and chopped cucumber to it

  3. 3

    Add salt and dry mango powder(amchoor) and mix nicely

  4. 4

    Squeeze lemon juice

  5. 5

    Masalas use according to your taste
    Keep this mixture ready

    Now take a big zeera papad (I took lijjat papad)

  7. 7

    Cut it into two halves
    Dry roast one half on hot tawa and fold it like a cone

  8. 8

    Serving

    Just before serving add tamarind and mint chutney (optional) to the moong mixture

    Place papad cone in a glass and put moong chat in it

  10. 10

    Crispy masala papads as party starters or evening snacks are ready
