Assemble all dals. Soak dals in water for 5-6 hours. Strain water. Transfer in mixer jar. Add chopped green chillies and ginger.

Grind in a fine smooth paste. Add salt and mix well. Beat batter for 5 min in circular motion. Grease appe pan with oil. Pour batter in each pit of appe pan.

Cook on medium heat from both sides until light brown. Soak in lukewarm for 15-20 min. Squeeze water by pressing dahi bade in both palms.

Whisk curd. Add dahi bade. Add salt. Mix well.

Garnish with cumin powder, red chilli powder, black pepper and coriander leaves.
