Steps

Take a cooker pour water add rice and daal, salt to taste, 1|2 teasp. Ghee, tej patta and cook it for 3-4 whistle.

Take a pan put ghee add mustard seeds, red chilli, peppercorns, cumin seeds, asafoetida, cloves, curry leaves then add garlic and onions and cook it untill golden brown then add tomatoes and mix well and turmeric powder, red chilli powder then add cooked rice and daal then add salt and mix well, if it's too thick add water and serve by garnishing it with coriander leaves and ghee.
