Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cupgram flour
  • 1 cupfinely chopped methi bhaji
  • 1/4 cupgreen garlic finely chopped
  • 2green chilli + 1small ginger paste
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • Water as require
  • 1/4 tsphing
  • 1/4 tspTurmaric powder
  • 1/2 tsplemon juice
  • 1/2 tspoil
  • 1/4 tspbaking soda
  • Oil to grease thali

Steps

  1. 1

    Put steamer cooker to heat.

  2. 2

    Mix gram flour, methi, garlic, ginger chilli paste, salt, black pepper powder, hing, Turmaric powder and lemon juice.

  3. 3

    Add water as needed. Make smooth batter. Not too thick.

  4. 4

    Add baking soda and oil, mix well.

  5. 5

    Spread oil in thali and put it in steamer cooker. Add batter into thali and sprinkle red chilli powder (optional), cook on medium to high flame for 6-8min.

  6. 6

    Wait for 2-3min.

    Remove from cooker and cut. Serve hot with oil + garlic chutney.
