Ingredients

  1. 250 gmschole
  2. 1tea bag
  3. 2bay leaf
  4. 4cloves
  5. 2dry red chilli
  6. 1 inchdal chinni stick
  7. 2 tspSalt
  8. Water as required
  9. Ingredients for masala
  10. 4green chillies
  11. 2grated onion
  12. 2Tomato (pureed)
  13. 1 tspGinger garlic paste
  14. to TasteSalt
  15. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  16. 1 tspGaram masala
  17. 1 tspChanna masala
  18. 1 tspCoriander powder
  19. 1 tspBlack pepper
  20. 1 tspKitchen king
  21. 2 tbspOil
  22. Ingredients for bhautre
  23. 2 cuPMaida
  24. 2 tspbaking powder
  25. 1 tspbaking soda
  26. 1 pinchsalt
  27. 1/2 tspsugar
  28. 1 tbspdesi ghee
  29. 1/4 cupcurd
  30. Water as required

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak channe for 4~5. Hours

  2. 2

    Put the channe into cooker add bay leaf,cloves,dalchinni stick,tea bag, dry chilli and water as required

  3. 3

    Pressure cook for 3 whistles and then lower the flame and cook till done

  4. 4

    In a pan add oil, chopped green chilli and ginger garlic paste

  5. 5

    Saute for a min

  6. 6

    Add onion and saute till golden brown

  7. 7

    Add tomato puree and seasonings

  8. 8

    Add 1/4th cup water and let the masala cook for 4 ~5 min

  9. 9

    Then add cooked channe and mix well add little water and cook for more 5 miN

  10. 10

    In another pan add 1 tsp of oil, ginger julliens and green chilli slits of 3 or 4 lightly saute this and put this on channe garnish with coriander

  11. 11

    In a bowl add all the ingredients of bhatura and water as required to make a dough

  12. 12

    Make a dough and rest for 1 hour

  13. 13

    Heat the oil and make bhautre

  14. 14

    Serve chole bhature and enjoy....
