Fried Kibbeh with Mozzarella

Grind the beef and onion. Rinse the bulgur, then grind it together with the beef.

Combine all the ingredients with the onion and knead the mixture well. Wet your hands with water to help shape the kibbeh.

You can make the traditional oval kibbeh shape or the 'bulbul' (bird's nest) shape. Stuff the kibbeh with mozzarella cheese, seal the edges well, and fry in hot oil until golden brown.

You can freeze the kibbeh. When ready to use, fry directly from the freezer without thawing.

Serve in the traditional shape or the 'bulbul' shape.
