Ingredients

  • Garin dawa (guinea corn flour)
  • Kanya (local potash
  • Okro
  • Grinded tomatoes,pepper and onions
  • Palm oil
  • Seasoning
  • Daddawa (locust bean)
  • Naman rago (mutton)

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the grain dry, grind into smooth flour.

  2. 2

    Add water into pot and bring to boil. Add a little kanwa

  3. 3

    Mix \2 flour with water into abowl to a tick consistency, add to the boiling water and continue to stir until it thickens then allow to boil for 5_10 minutes, stir in the remaining flour until it becomes very smooth, if very thick add little water and allow to simmer, dish out.

    Add the mutton into a saucepan with onions, seasoning &apinch of salt and cook until done.

  5. 5

    Stir in the blended tomatoes, pepper and onions, add season in, salt allow to cook until it becomes thick, dish out.

  6. 6

    Grate okro, add water into a saucepan, add daddawa, onions, salt bring to boil, then add okro to cook & thickens, dish out.
