Ingredients

  • 2 cupssabudana
  • 2potatoes medium size
  • 1 cuproasted peanut coarsely grinded
  • 1 tspginger chilli paste
  • 4-6Curry leaves
  • 1 tsplemon juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspCumin seeds powder
  • Coriander finely chopped
  • 3 tbspOil
  • Asafoetida pinch (optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak sabudhana overnight in a bowl.
    Keep the water level up then the sabudana.
    So that I will be well soak and all the granules will be separate and soak properly.
    Now put it on a dried clothes and leave it for an hour.
    Now boiled potatoes in cooker.
    Then peel it out.

  2. 2

    Cut it into small pieces.
    Now heat oil in the pan.
    Add cumin seeds and curry leaves to it and let sputter for a while.
    Add pinch of asafoetida.
    Add ginger chilli paste and saute for few seconds.

  3. 3

    Now add potatoes to it and mix it well.
    Now add sabudana to it.
    Add peanut powder to it.
    Add salt and mix it well and let it cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
    Now off the gas and add lemon juice and coriander to it and mix it well.

  4. 4

    Finally serve this Sabudana khichdi with coconut chutney /sweet dahi or Raita and enjoy this scrumptious dish friends
