After much experimentation with a basic Asian ramen slaw recipe, I finally tweaked and tinkered the original recipe into the “perfect” slaw recipe. It is a cheap healthy side that I make on a weekly basis. Goes great with bbq chicken or burgers!

Ingredients

  1. 1 headgreen cabbage sliced thinly
  2. 1 cupolive oil
  3. 1/2 cupwhite vinegar
  4. 1/4 cupturbinado sugar (doesn’t have to be turbinado but that’s what I like to use)
  5. to tasteSalt and pepper
  6. About one teaspoon of chicken seasoning (optional)
  7. 3/4 cupsliced almonds
  8. 3/4 cupdried cranberries

Cooking Instructions

    Thinly slice cabbage, set aside

  2. 2

    Combine oil, vinegar, sugar, and seasonings and whisk until well combined (make sure sugar is dissolved)

  3. 3

    Place cabbage in a large bowl, add dressing, and toss to coat well

  4. 4

    Add in almonds and cranberries and mix well. Enjoy!!
