Ingredients

  • 2 cupsself raising flour
  • 3⁄4 cup water
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoonsoil
  • Sugar is optional
  • Eggwash from one egg white

Steps

  1. 1

    Beat eggs in oil and add with water to flour and salt. (And sugar).

  2. 2

    Preheat oven. Grease loaf tin.

  3. 3

    Knead dough for 2 to 3 mins.

  4. 4

    Put in loaf tin and apply egg wash.

  5. 5

    Bake at 190° C for 40mins. Test for doneness before removing and cooling on wire rack.
