Wash and soak rice and lentils for 10 mins.

Now heat ghee in a cooker. Put rai Jeera and hing. Then put cloves, pepper corns. Give a stir.

Add all chopped vegetables, ginger and curry leaves. Mix well.

Add salt and turmeric powder. Mix well.

Put soaked rice and dal. Add 2 glass of water. Mix well. Pressure cook for 2 whistles.

Now open it and serve hot in a dish and pour spoonful of ghee.

Delicious and healthy veg khichadi can b eaten with curd, salad and papad.
