Ingredients

  • 1 cupyellow lentils (moong daal)
  • 1onion finely chopped
  • 1carrot grated
  • 2 tablespoongrated fresh coconut
  • 1/2tomato chopped
  • 2 tablespooncoriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoonpepper powder (optional)
  • to tasteSalt
  • For seasoning
  • 1 teaspoonoil
  • 1/4 teaspoonmustard
  • 1red chilli (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoonBlack gram(urad daal)

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak moong daal for 1 hour.

  2. 2

    Add all the ingredients and mix well.

  3. 3

    Heat oil add mustard and urad daal. Add red chilli and pour it on salad prepared, mix well and serve.
