Ingredients

  1. 2medium potatoes (cut into 4/1 pieces)
  2. 2medium onions (chopped)
  3. 250 gmspurple yam(same cut as potatoes)
  4. 1corn (boiled and cut into round 1/2inch pieces)
  5. 2tomatoes (make puree)
  6. 100 gmsbaby onion
  7. 1 tbs +1tbs oiloil
  8. 1 tspGaram Masala powder
  9. 1+1 tsp red chilli powder
  10. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  11. 1 tspginger paste
  12. 1/4 tspcumin
  13. 2 tbsmuthiya batter
  14. 2 tspcoriander leaves
  15. to tasteSalt
  16. as neededOil to fry
  17. For muthiya
  18. 1 cupBengal gram (Soaked for 4 hours and grind)
  19. 1/2 cupcoriander leaves
  20. 1/2 cupmint leaves
  21. 1onion finely chopped
  22. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  23. 1/4 tspasafoetida
  24. 1 tspginger chilli paste
  25. 1/2 tspGaram Masala powder
  26. 1 tspGaram Masala powder
  27. As per taste salt
  28. 1 tsphot oil
  29. as requiredOil to fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak bengal gram for 4 hours and grind.Mix all ingredients (except oil for frying) of muthiya and make a ball and fry in hot oil. Keep aside 2 tbs of muthiya batter.

    Half fry potatoes and purple yam.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in pan add cumin when splutter add onion saute till change colour now add tomato pulp when oil release add turmeric powder, ginger paste,1 tsp red chilli powder, Garam Masala powder and salt mix well.

    Now add muthiya batter and coriander leaves saute for 2 minutes add 4 cup water let it boil then add half fry potatoes,purple yam and corn cover it cook at low flame for 5-7 minutes.Add baby onion and Bengal gram fritters, cook for 5 minutes. Temper it with red chilli powder. Serve it with puris
