Ingredients

7 rolls
  • 173 gmsall purpose flour
  • 25 gmssugar
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1 1/8 tspyeast
  • 1/4 cupmilk
  • 1/8 cupwater
  • 1 1/2 tbsmelted butter/margarine
  • 1small egg
  • Filling
  • 1 1/2 tbsmargarine /butter
  • 1/2 tbscinnamon
  • 1/8 cupsugar

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl combine all the dry ingredients and set aside.

  2. 2

    Melt the butter, add it to the warm water and milk

  3. 3

    Mix the wet ingredients into the dry and add the egg.

  4. 4

    Mix till you form a dough. Set the dough aside to rest for an hour

  5. 5

    After one hr roll out the dough to a rectangular shape, spread the margarine /butter and the cinnamon sugar.

  6. 6

    Proceed to roll out the dough to form a log, then cut into pieces. Place the pieces onto your baking tray and allow for second proofing, another hr.

  7. 7

    After the hr is done, brush the the rolls with an egg wash, preheat your oven at 190 degrees and bake the rolls for 30min.

  8. 8

    Remove from oven, then once warm, pour glaze onto the baked rolls. Serve with some milk or tea. Enjoy
