Brahmi leaves are a very integral part of Ayurvedic medicine . The leaves consumed regularly promotes memory , regulates BP and many more benefits. This is consumed with yoghurt and mixed with rice. It can be eaten without rice too just like raita.

Brahmi leaves are a very integral part of Ayurvedic medicine . The leaves consumed regularly promotes memory , regulates BP and many more benefits. This is consumed with yoghurt and mixed with rice. It can be eaten without rice too just like raita.
Steps

Clean and wash the brahmi leaves.
* Heat a pan, add 1/2 teaspoon ghee.
* When ghee is hot, add peppercorns and cumin seeds.
* Fry on medium flame until the colour of cumin seeds change.
* Set this aside.
* In a mixer, add brahmi, coconut, roasted pepper & cumin seeds, salt and water. - 2
Grind into a very smooth paste.
* Remove the purée into a bowl.
* Add yoghurt and mix well.
* At this stage adjust salt and thickness of the raita.
* If it’s eaten with rice, then slightly thin and when eating as raita, then slightly thick mixture.
* In another pan, heat 1 teaspoon ghee.
* When ghee is hot, add mustard and cumin seeds.
* Fry until the mustard seeds begin to crackle.
* Add it to the purée and mix well.
* Serve it with hot rice ! - 3
