Dal tadka

Authentic Restaurant style dal fry. Very delicious. #RamadanSpecial
Steps

First soak the dal for 30 minutes and boil it with 2 cups of water 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp turmeric powder upto 1 whistle in medium to high flame.

Heat a pan with 2 tbsps of butter.

Add cumin seeds and sauté it after that add dried red chilli, garlic, ginger and chopped onions and fry it till the colour changed.

After that add turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt fry it for 1 minutes.

Now add the boiled dal in it and mix it nicely and cook for few seconds and turn off the flame.

In a second pan heat 2 tbsps butter and add cumin seeds and red chilli powder and some coriander leaves and fry it and turn off the flame.

Now add the tadka on the top of dal and garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.

And our restaurant style dal fry is ready.
