Ingredients

  1. ForFor Kofta :
  2. 1 cupLeftover Palak chana dal
  3. 1 tbspBesan (dry roast)
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1/4 tspGaram masala
  6. For Gravy :
  7. 2 Medium sized Onion (paste)
  8. 2 Medium sized tomatoes omatoes (pureed)
  9. 1 tspGinger garlic chilli paste
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. 1/4 tspHaldi /turmeric powder
  12. 1/2 tspLal mirchi powder /red chilli powder
  13. 1/2 tspDhaniya powder
  14. 1/2 tspKitchen king masala
  15. 1 pinchSugar
  16. 1 tbspFresh cream/ Malai
  17. 1 tbspOil
  18. 1/2 tspKasoori methi
  19. SomeCoriander leaves to garnish
  20. SomeOil to fry

Cooking Instructions

    For Kofta :
    In a non stick pan take leftover palak chana dal and mix besan, salt & garam masala.

    Cook continuously till thickened.
    Let it cool.

    Grease your palms and take little portion and make lemon size balls.

  4. 4

    Fry it on medium flame.
    Keep aside.

    In a thick pan heat oil.
    Add Jeera. Add ginger garlic chilli paste.

    Cook for a min. Add onion paste. Cook until little brownish.

  7. 7

    Add tomato puree. Mix it and add all dry masalas.

    Cook till oil separates.

    Now add fresh cream.

    Mix well. Add required amount of water.

    Cover and cook for 5 mins.
    Add kasoori methi. Mix gently. Add coriander leaves.

    Now in take serving dish put gravy and koftas over it.
    Garnish with fresh cream and enjoy with plain Roti/ Tandoori Roti.
