Ingredients

  1. 250 GMidli rawa
  2. 100 GMurad daal
  3. as per tasteSalt
  4. A pinchKhane ka soda / baking soda
  5. 1 tbspground rice

Cooking Instructions

    Soake urad daal and idli rawa in separate bowl for about 6 hours

  2. 2

    After 6 hours remove excess water from rawa,grind urad daal with little water,add urad daal mixture into rawa and add ground rice,mix welll

  3. 3

    Set aside in a warm place to ferment for 8 hours,when mixture perfectly fermented add salt and soda

    Oil the idli steamer plates,spoon the batter into the plate

  5. 5

    Set the idli steamer into a large,pre- heated pot with water in the bottom of steaming

  6. 6

    Steam the batter for 5-10 mins or until fluffy

  7. 7

    Remove the idlis from the streamer and serve with chutney and sambhar🤗😋😋
