Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1onion, finely minced
  • 2garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lblean ground beef
  • 1egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 TbspWorcestershire
  • 4 Tbsplow sodium teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1/4 tspblack pepper
  • 1/2 tspred pepper flakes
  • 2 cupsshredded carrots chopped (picture does not show chopped)
  • 1/4 cupgreen onions, chopped
  • 1 cupcooked brown rice
  • 4 tsplow sodium teriyaki sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 400F, prepare glass baking dish with cooking spray

  2. 2

    Saute onion and garlic in cooking spray, transfer to large mixing dish and allow to cool

  3. 3

    Add beef, egg, Worcestershire, teriyaki (4 Tbsp), salt, pepper, and red pepper. Mix Well.

  4. 4

    Add carrots, green onion, and rice. Mix well and divide into 4 equal parts

  5. 5

    Place each finished loaf in prepared pan

  6. 6

    Bake for about 20-25 minutes, until internal temp is 160 F.5 minutes prior to removing brush each loaf with 1 tsp teriyaki sauce

All of the descriptions on my recipes include the new "Smartpoints" value on Weight Watchers for each serving. Some are duplicates from others that I found online, with modifications to reduce the number of points or remove/substitute ingredients my husband and/or I don't like.I'm still new to the kitchen and cooking for two (normally I make recipes for 4 and pack the leftovers for lunch the next day) and am looking to learn more. If you have any suggestions for any of my recipes regarding ingredients or cooking methods please send me a message!!
