Marinate the fish with 1tsp turmeric powder and 1tsp salt, keep it for 10 minutes. Heat mustard oil in a pan, fry the fish both side gently.

Now take 2tbls mustard oil in a pan, heat the oil. Add 1/2 tsp Nigella seeds. After 1minutes add 2tbls mustard paste, green chilli paste, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder. Fry the mixture for 1 minutes. Then add 1/2 tsp salt, fry again for 2 minutes.

Add 1/2 cup water and 2 green chilli in gravy. Add fried fish in the gravy. Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes in low flame. Then add chopped coriander leaves. Put off the gas oven and serve it hot with steamed rice.
