Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupcrumbled potato boiled
  2. 2 tbspscorn flour
  3. 1 tspginger paste
  4. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  5. 1 tbspcashews chopped
  6. 1 tbspraisins chopped
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1 tspfresh chopped coriander leaves
  9. As neededOil for deep frying
  10. Silver foil
  11. For Lahsuni Dal -
  12. 3/4 cup Moong Dal
  13. 1/4 cupMasoor dal
  14. 5 tbspGarlic chopped
  15. 1 tspcumin seeds
  16. 2 Onion chopped
  17. 1Tomato chopped
  18. 1 tspcumin Powder
  19. 1 tspturmeric Powder
  20. 1/4 tspChilli Powder
  21. 3Green Chillies
  22. Pinch Hing
  23. 1 tbspFresh Coriander Leaves
  24. to tasteSalt
  25. 1 tbsprefined oil
  26. For Tempting,
  27. 2 tbsp pure ghee
  28. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  29. 1/4 tsphing
  30. 4-5round shape chopped garlic
  31. 4whole red chilli

Cooking Instructions

    For Making Kofta,Take paneer and boiled potato in a deep bowl and mashed well.

    Now add all kofta ingredients and in it and mix well

  3. 3

    Make small balls of this mixture and keep aside

  4. 4

    Heat oil in a pan now fry all balls carefully

  5. 5

    Now wrap the silver foil on all balls and keep aside for next step

  6. 6

    For Making Lahsuni dal,Firstly wash both the lentils and soak them for 8-10 mins.
    Now boil them in a pot with water and salt.

    Once the dals cook keep them aside.

    For tadka, take oil in a pan add hing, cumin seeds, garlic and wait until they crackle.

    Now add hing and stir them.

    Add chopped onions, Green Chilies and Salt.

    Once the onion becomes light pink add tomatoes to it and mix well.

    Wait until tomatoes colour changes and tender add haldi in it

  13. 13

    Add the dal and let it cook.
    Now add cumin powder and chilli powder to the the Dal and stir it

    Now add chopped corriender and mix

  15. 15

    For Tempting, Heat ghee in a pan add hing and other tempting ingredients

  16. 16

    When smell comes and done pour on dal carefully and cover the lid immediately

  17. 17

    At time to serve place kofta over the dal for more taste

  18. 18

    Now Lasooni Dal Kofta is ready to be served with rice and Rotis or Naan.
    Garnish Lasooni Dal Kofta with hot tempting.
