Ingredients

  1. 100 gmsred pumpkin
  2. 1/2 cupgramflour/ besan
  3. 2 tbspcornflour
  4. 1 tbsprice flour
  5. 1/4 tsp baking soda
  6. 1/4 tsp kalonji (nigella)
  7. To tastesalt
  8. 1 pinchsugar
  9. 1 pinchturmeric powder
  10. 4green chillies chopped
  11. 1 cupoil for frying
  12. 1/2 cupwater approximately

Cooking Instructions

    Slice thin pieces of pumpkin.Smear little salt and set aside. Mix besan, cornflour and rice flour. Add baking soda,kalonji turmeric,chopped green chillies,1 tbsp warm oil. Sift all together.Add water to make a thick batter.Blend properly to get a smooth but thick consistency.Heat oil.Dip pumpkin pieces in batter and fry in low flame till well browned and crispy.
