Ingredients

  1. 400 gmschicken
  2. 2onions chopped
  3. 2potatoes quartered
  4. 1 tbspginger paste
  5. 1 tspgarlic paste
  6. 3 tbsptomato puree
  7. 4-5peppercorns half crushed
  8. 1/2 tspblack pepper
  9. 1bay leaf
  10. 1/2 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  11. 1/4 th tsp turmeric
  12. 1 tbspghee
  13. 1 tbspoil
  14. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  15. 1/2 tspmeat masala
  16. 1/2 tspsugar
  17. To tastesalt
  18. 1 tbspchopped coriander
  19. 4-5green chillies
  20. 1 pinchorange red food colour

Cooking Instructions

    Boil quartered potatoes.Heat ghee and oil in a wok.Smear salt on potatoes and fry.Set aside.In the remaining oil sprinkle half crushed black pepper.Fry the chopped onion till transparent.Add chicken.Add ginger garlic paste,sugar and salt and other masalas and toss.Add 1 1/2 cups water and cover and simmer for 15 minutes.Add the potatoes,a pinch of orange red food colour and boil for sometime.Sprinkle garam masala,meat masala and black pepper and give it a boil.Garnish with chopped coriander.
