Assemble all the ingredients (except the raisins)and measure them. whisk all the dry ingredients thoroughly. add the warm milk little by little until the dough comes together. dust your work surface and work your dough until smooth. oil your tin, place back the dough and cover with a damp cloth. let rest for at least 20 minutes.

Dust your work surface and roll out the dough. spread the raisins on one half of the dough. fold over the other half and roll the dough gently, ensuring no raisins pop out. dust off the excess flour and cut into your desired shapes. let them rest for at least 5 minutes when covered.

In a medium heated oil, gently slip the dough pieces (do not overcrowd your pan). keep flipping till you get your desired golden brown color. remove and place in an underlined container. do this for the rest of the dough pieces.

Let them to cool before serving. ENJOY!!!
