Ingredients

  1. 15spinach leaves rinsed and pat-dried
  2. 1 cupgram flour (besan)
  3. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  4. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  5. To tastesalt
  6. 1 pinchbaking soda
  7. Water (as needed)
  8. Oil for deep frying

Cooking Instructions

    Take gram flour in a mixing bowl. Add salt, turmeic powder, chilli powder and baking soda to it. Give it a mix.

    Add water as needed to the mixture and whisk it to get a smooth batter.

    Dip the whole spinach leaves into batter. Coat with batter on both sides.

    Slowly drop them into hot oil. Deep fry till they become crisp and golden brown.

    Remove the spinach fritters onto a plate lined with paper towel.

  6. 6

    Serve hot with tomato ketchup and tea.
