Turai Ka Salan Turai Ka Salan
#nonindian - Here is a simple and an easy recipe of Turai (Ridge gourd) cooked in the Pakistani style. So far I cooked Turai with lentils - either tuvar dal or roasted moong dal. So this dish was really something new and yummy. As usual I made it spicy and tangy to suit my palate. So go ahead and try this recipe and I am sure it will be appreciated. It can be relished with plain steamed rice, jeera rice or any Indian bread. Bethica Das -

Tutong Tutong
This recipe is one of my chilhood favorite snack. I prefer room temperature when I eat it. It is very simple to make food for a heavy snack best goes with tea or coffee ( I prefer black coffee for this one). So what is Tutong? It's the sweetrice, sticky ruce or what we called glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk and brown sugar. The toasted mung beans brings the distinctive flavor that makes the difference among the other sweetrice dessert.Hope you try and like it. TaTu (Tamarind Turmeric) Herbal Tea/Kunir Asem TaTu (Tamarind Turmeric) Herbal Tea/Kunir Asem
This herbal tea I used to drink when I was a teenager and made by my late sister helps me reduce the pain for my monthly period. Despite an Indonesian woman that this herbal drink (we called it jamu) kunir asem (turmeric tamarind) and used to drink it in the period, which helps us reduce the pain, tummy cramps, the lousy odour is delicious for another healthy winter drink. As usual, I expend this recipe so my teen daughter can drink (she doesn't like the smell of turmeric, so I add cinnamon to bias the pungent aroma of the turmeric) it also.Recipe by @Simple_Woman23#jamu #kunirasem #herbaltea #turmeric #tamarind #healthy #drink for #woman #winter #cookpad #cookpadcommunity #cookpadcommunity_USA #cookpadcommunity_Indonesia ZahraS_23
